This amazing, powerful song was played before my Celebrate Recovery class last Monday...It spoke volumes to me....I felt the Lord's loving arms enfold me with such comfort. I hope and pray that this song will comfort anyone who is in need of being comforted...
God is the
Great Comforter!
I am dedicating this song to Big Steve, a 43 year old friend of ours who must have felt so abandoned, hurt, lost, broken, distraught and unworthy that he took his own life on February 10, 2011 leaving behind his two precious little girls (ages 7 and 5) without their wonderful Dad. At the Memorial Service last Saturday it was standing room only for so many of his family and friends who deeply loved and cared about him. If only he would have reached out for help or known about the invaluable resources that were out there such as Celebrate Recovery to help with everyday struggles, he would be alive today instead of a memory. I pray for God to have mercy on his soul, to forgive him and to help comfort his little girls who will need strength to cope with the trauma of losing their beloved father. There are No Orphans of God!!
